Location, location, location…but what about community?

When you are buying a new home you will have a list of priorities and more often than not, location is at the top of most potential buyer’s lists, but what about community? Remember your property will not be in its own bubble; you and your home will be a part of a larger community that you interact with every day. Neighbours, social scene and lifestyle are all part of your community but let’s not get confused, we’re not suggesting that you buy based on the strength of your local community centre or town hall but merely offering a practical insight into an area that will become your home. Our guides cover all aspects of our North London, from Harringay to Holloway we give you a taste of what your life could be like in each area and strongly believe that although the location is important your surrounding community might be more influential than you thought.

There are a number of questions that you can ask yourself; what are the local schools like? Would you like to be near some open space? Where is the nearest gym or leisure centre? Or is there a farmers market nearby? How you live your life directly affects what you need or would like in and around your new home. Next time you search for your next home read a little bit about its background, a home just down the street might offer you everything you were looking for.

Produce from a monthly farmers market allows your favourite street food to be available in local stores and restaurant owners are proud to say that their menu is made from ingredients sourced locally.
