London Cocktail Week

Kicking October off with a bang is the London Cocktail Week, taking place from Monday 3rd until Sunday 9th.  If you’re wondering if this is too good be true, well it’s not! London Cocktail Week is an annual 7-day festival that celebrates the capital’s cocktail scene. You are treated to exclusive offers in over 200 bars across London as well as an entire cocktail village in Old Spitalfields Market. How do you get involved? London Literature Festival

If cocktails aren’t your thing then swap your legends martini for literature at the Southbank Centre with acclaimed authors, poets, and speakers. The London Literature Festival is spread over two weeks and will gather together world-renowned writers, futurologists, and transhumanists to celebrate the power of the imagination! If that wasn’t enough much-admired actor Christopher Eccleston will perform a reading of HG Wells’ The Time Machine, this year’s festival is one not to be missed. London Film Festival

From books to the big screen the London Film Festival might be centred around Leicester Square but it will also feature in movie houses all over London. The annual festival works with the British Film Institute to screen more than 300 films, documentaries, and shorts from over 50 countries. Celebrating its 60th year, international film makers and stars will come out to enjoy screenings of Hollywood premiers and the very best in world cinema. NFL

It’s time for the Americans to set their alarm clocks as the NFL (National Football League) comes to London! The NFL have rewarded the UK fans or American Football by scheduling 3 games to be played in Twickenham and Wembley stadium. The New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals are just a few of the teams that will travel to the UK giving you a chance to see them play live and in your home town! In addition to the live games London will also host several NFL events throughout London this includes the UK’s biggest street party, tailgate party and fan nights.
