Winners of the Best Small London Estate Agency 2012

Thursday 6th December saw approximately 600 leading estate agents and conveyancing lawyers descend upon The Lancaster London Hotel for The Estate Agency of The Year Awards ceremony. The winners received their awards from celebrity guest, Olympian Rebecca Addlington.
The awards ceremony was the culmination of a rigorous and thorough judging process carried out by a panel of industry experts who assessed initial entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants which included hundreds of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The whole judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman; Christopher Hamer.
Now in its 10th year, these awards are firmly established as the most sought-after and difficult to win in estate agency. Over 5,000 offices were represented this year, but only the very best of the best were crowned as winners.
Anthony Pepe & Co winners of the Best Small London Estate Agency were delighted to receive the Gold award following winning the Silver award in the same category in 2011.
In making the award, the judges said: “It is clear that the owners are great agents who love the industry and are taking every step to ensure that their people are trained to the same level and possess the same level of enthusiasm.
With an excellent understanding of processes, technology supports the staff, not replaces them and this approach means that the back office CRM can be used behind the scenes with friendly, personal services offered front of house.
Without exception, the entire team understands it's all about communication throughout the entire sales process and they treat absolutely everyone they meet as a potential customer. This long term attitude to the business is paying dividends resulting in the jump from Silver last year to Gold today.”
Director of Anthony Pepe & Co, Charlie Perdios said: “We are extremely proud to be recognised as the overall Best Small Estate Agency in London. The award is testament to all the hard work our staff and management have put in throughout the year. It’s even more pleasurable that this award comes in our 25th anniversary year and caps off a marvellous 2012 for us.”
Fellow Director Ari Theodorou added: “The Estate Agent of the Year awards sponsored by The Times and Sunday Times are the most prestigious in the property industry and to win Silver in 2011 and now Gold in 2012 is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates both our commitment to delivering the finest estate agency services to our clients and customers and our success at consistently doing so.”
Peter Knight, Chairman of the event organisers Estate Agency Events commented
“When we set up the awards ten years ago our goal was to encourage, identify, highlight, reward and promote best practice in Estate Agency - a decade on we now have a competition that is without question the most sought after prize in the industry as well as being the longest established. Each year the quality and quantity of entries considerably increases and the winners can be very proud in the knowledge that they have beaten some seriously good competitors.”
Despite their success, Anthony Pepe & Co, with offices in Palmers Green and Haringay, are not looking to rest on their laurels and see 2013 as a year when their customer focused approach will see them helping more people than ever move home.
Director Charlie Perdios has the final word: “Our clients and customers are at the heart of everything we do and, whilst we are delighted to see this recognised through winning this award, it is the day to day commitment, professionalism and effort of our team that really sets us apart from the competition.”
